Podnuh's was established in Louisiana and born out of the love of good cooking. With over thirty year's experience of serving good barbecue, we have it down to a science. Our name is synonymous with great barbecue in both north and south Louisiana.

Our philosophy of slow cooked barbecue brings the best of Louisiana to the customer. With each bite, you can taste local flavor because our pits are fired with only Louisiana Red Oak to ensure an even and consistent mellow smoke flavor.

Our homemade potato salad, barbecue sauce, cole slaw, and famous Podnuh's Baked Beans are done fresh in each unit each day. Our signature beans are cooked at least 7 hours on the pits to ensure the taste you have grown to love will be there every time.

In order to expedite service, all stores have a convenient drive thru which enables our guests to enjoy Podnuh's with out leaving the car. Whether you are ordering a plate for yourself or a family spread to take home you will get it fast, hot and friendly.

All of our stores have serving lines where you help yourself to great side orders, desserts, and garnishes.
